If your MBR becomes corrupted this is how to repair it.
I deliberately destroyed the MBR to make sure this would work.

1/ Make sure your computer is set to boot from the CD/DVD, ( this is done in the BIOS).

2/ Put your Win 7 DVD in and reboot the computer, when asked press any key to boot from the DVD.

3/ Select the language and Country, click next.

4/ Click repair, then click on you operating system, (if you are dual booting, click on the Win 7 one), then click next.

5/ In the dialogue box that appears, select Command Prompt.

6/ To see the commands type Bootrec.exe.

7/ At the prompt to repair the MBR type bootrec /FixMbr then hit enter.

8/ To repair the boot sector type bootrec /FixBoot.

Note between bootrec and the forward slash there is a space.

Yes no problems.

I change my OS that often that I could use a Linux live CD to repair it, but I just posted this to help anyone who has this problem.

As W7 has not yet been released to the general public yet, I thought I would get in early.
