A Cosmetic Dentist For A Million Dollar Smile

by

ajay shringi

A million dollar smile is an asset. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with one. Irregular teeth, brown spots, stains, yellowing teeth, missing tooth etc are some of the factors that drastically reduce the wattage of your smile. The good news is that, unlike in the past where you had to be happy with what Nature gives you, these days, technology can help you alter the aesthetics of your smile – dramatically. Thats what a cosmetic dentist does.

With a range of treatments available, more and more people are turning to cosmetic dentists for a number of reasons. Some people just want the classic Hollywood smile, while others want out from a crooked or gummy smile. Some people go to cosmetic dentists to get whiter teeth or replace fillings. In fact, bleaching or whitening of teeth is one of the most sought after treatments in cosmetic dentistry.

Cosmetic dentists make use of dental implants, veneers and crowns to reconstruct, enhance and repair the existing shape and structure of the mouth. In many cases, people who have knocked off a tooth or sustained injuries from accidents also take the help of a cosmetic dentist to restore their smile.

Some of the most common services of a cosmetic dentist include teeth whitening, veneers, dental implants, dental bonding, fillings, inlays and fixing crowns and bridges. Through these techniques, you can bring about almost any kind of alteration in your oral structure.

Often, patients do not opt for the services of a cosmetic dentist because of their fear of prohibitive costs. However, the cost factor is equivalent to the kind of procedure, the kind of material used, the geographical location of the treatment center and the skill level of the practitioner. The truth of the matter is that for many people, money spent on restoring good looks is money well spent. Patients may also take heart from the fact that there are a number of affordable treatment options. Additionally, a number of dentistry financing plans can help cushion the cost of more expensive and extensive treatments.

Before you invest in your smile, it is important to choose a cosmetic dentist who is highly skilled and has vast experience in the procedure. In this regard, remember that cosmetic dentistry is not the treatment of a disease. Rather, it is highly aesthetic in nature. Your objective is to look as naturally appealing as possible. Therefore, the practitioner needs an artistic touch in addition to technical expertise. That is why it is well worth your while to pay a premium for a cosmetic dentist with artistic vision as well as technical expertise and the latest dentistry know-how.

With a large number of people becoming more and more conscious of their looks, there has been a drastic shift in the thinking processes of people. Today, a striking and presentable exterior is very much a part of the success package. Also, as a sizable section of the population reaches the 50-year mark, there is an increase in demand for cosmetic surgeons and dentists to halt and reverse the ravages of time.

How To Gain Weight For Thin Skinny Girls

By Chris Chew

So you are fed up with your thin skinny frame and have always wanted that well rounded curves of a sexy feminine woman. As hard as you might try stuffing your face green with whatever food you can get your hands on, you just can’t seem to put on even a single extra pound of weight. Why is it so hard and hard for you to gain weight? You probably may have asked that question a zillion times.

In this world that is obsessed with losing weight, as it seems that all the advertisements, fitness programs, diets regimens are all targeting at people who want to lose weight. This onslaught barrage of weight loss programs drown out the concerns of underweight women like you trying your darndest best to put on weight. That is certainly very frustrating for you, isn’t it?

To compound matters, your search for weight programs in the internet kept showing up muscle building systems and muscle weight gaining programs for men. Why are skinny girls like you being ignored?

Well ladies, you aren’t being ignored. It is just that your mind refuses to register certain truths those programs are telling you. Before you get insulted and clawed me up, please be patient and read on.

You see, things aren’t so bleak after all. Because the good news is that there isn’t much difference for gaining weight between men and women. Yes, you’ve read that correctly. Therefore those weight gain programs for men work pretty well for girls too because the principles that a naturally thin woman must adopt if she wishes to quickly put on healthy weight are the same principles that worked for the boys!

Now, here are some of your mental blocks I spoke about earlier. Most women, and I believe that including you, have a myriad of mental stumbling blocks regarding weight gain techniques. Such as you probably do not want to consume too much calories in case you become fat in the wrong places or you certainly do not want to start weight training because you are terrified of getting big muscles like those of bodybuilders! Am I right to say that?

Listen ladies, with due respect, in order to gain healthy weight effectively and quickly, you will have to remove those mental blocks now! Your fears are irrational and are completely unfounded!

You see, most women have the mistaken impression that training with weights will make them look muscular and thus compromising their feminine beauty. This I can verify because a large number of the enquiries that I receive from females asking for putting on weight advice will invariably qualify their requests with statements like “I don’t want to look like a man’ or “I don’t want to look like a bodybuilder”

Now get this right once and for all! Women simply don’t naturally possess enough of the male hormone, testosterone, that will allow them to become huge muscular hunks! No amount of weight training is going to change that fact. Even most men are not naturally predisposed to be a bodybuilder, what more of a woman?

Yes, I know what you are thinking right now. You are asking what about pictures of female bodybuilders you have seen, right? The sad thing is that those photos are the main culprits that led to your irrational fear of weight training. You see, those women bodybuilders that you see got where they are because of very intensive and special training with the consumption of tons of supplements to get those muscle mass up with plenty of professional help.

As a matter of fact, many female bodybuilders with extremely huge muscles and who exhibit masculine characteristics didn’t get that way through natural training. Instead, they use dangerous steroids to get them so huge! So let that sink in!

Furthermore, they didn’t get that way overnight. You just don’t simply wake up one morning and become a muscular woman bodybuilder right? You must understand that it has taken them many years of dedicated intensive training to get where they are and you certainly aren’t going to do that, don’t you?

Even if so, if you feel like you are becoming a tad too big or your blessed boyfriend is hiding behind you at the first sign of trouble, you can simply stop training. After all, when that happens, then your objective at gaining weight would have been happily achieved, right?

Yes, you will certainly put on some muscle when you are training with weights, but the muscles that you will be developing will not be huge and bulky. Instead, your new muscles will add tone and curves to your body shape making you look healthier and more attractive. Don’t you want that?

Another problem in your quest to put on weight is that many thin and skinny women set out to gain any weight and gaining body fat is fine with them. However, there is a major problem with this approach in putting on weight. If the weight you gain is primarily from increased body fat, you are most likely to be displeased with your results. This is because you have no control of where those extra fat will be going to on your body.

That goes on to say that if you do not control your fat gain (which you can’t since where your fat goes to is genetically pre-programmed), your extra ugly fat could end up unevenly distributed in all the wrong places like your belly, love handles, butt, thighs, arms and so on.

Therefore, your best bet to improve your physique in the way you want is to go after lean muscle weight gain. In this way, not only will you put on weight, you will also gain healthy weight and is in a position to dictate where the extra pounds are going to be. In other words, you can sculpt your body the way you want it to be shaped and that is sexy!

So girls, if you can move past your own mental blocks, you can certainly be assured that healthy and pleasing weight gain that is well within your reach. Of course, you must also consume enough good calories to ensure your success in putting on the extra pounds.

Wishing you all the best in putting on those extra pounds of sexy female weight and body curves.

West Midlands Law Firm Takes A Healthy Approach With Screening From The Healthy Hearts Institute

By John Mehtam

Employment Law Solicitors, Martin Kaye are the first company in Telford to use the Healthy Hearts Campaign’s new mobile health screening facility in a bid to assist employees in monitoring their health. Diabetes and cardio-vascular risks can now be identified with a 30 minute pop-in pop-out check at work.

A West Midlands law firm is the first company in Telford to take part in a health screening campaign for its staff.

The screening will include cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar analysis, as well as a general physical examination, a lung function test, and heart checks.

‘The Healthy Hearts Institute is based at Sandwell Medical Research Unit at West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, and has already been piloted across the West Midlands.

Healthy Hearts Campaign Co-ordinator, Geraldine Thomas, said: ‘Our mobile screening facility travels between industrial estates, business parks, and office blocks, and is run by a team of health professionals.

‘Hundreds of staff have benefited from the state-of-the-art check-ups, and now the screening programme is being extended to Shropshire.

Martin-Kaye Solicitors, who are based in Telford, have signed up to the Healthy Hearts Campaign, in a bid to help employees find out more about the state of their health.

The mobile screening unit will visit the company’s offices on November 15, and every employee who attends the session will receive a 30-minute consultation to assess their condition, with the results explained in private afterwards.

Senior Partner, Graham Davies, said: ‘We are extremely pleased that our staff are backing the Healthy Hearts initiative, and that they’re keen to take up this opportunity – in fact over 70 per cent of our employees have signed up to take part.

‘At the heart of every company is its workforce and we want to help our employees to identify any potential risks so they can seek the right kind of treatment, which should help prevent problems in the future.’

Healthy Hearts, Geraldine Thomas, said: ‘We are delighted to see such a high level of interest from a wide range of companies, who are all taking the view that health screening in the workplace benefits not only the employee, but the company too.’

Healthy Hearts is a charitable social enterprise initiative which encourages access to health screening, particularly with regard to cardio-vascular health risks and diabetes. Although operating for some three years, Healthy Heart was established as a charitable institute in 2006 to improve access to health in local communities, and forms part of the Sandwell Primary Prevention Alliance.

The Little Known Problem With Low Fat Diets

By Mike Warner

It is absolutely impossible to escape the hysteria going on in the supermarket aisles around the country today. The low fat craze is everywhere. Think of a food, and there is sure to be a low fat version of it. Some of them seem absolutely unbelievable to any fair minded person. I mean think about it. Low fat ice cream! Do you believe it is true? Well I’m going to reveal to you today that even though foods like this are low fat technically, they really aren’t in reality. You’re going to learn that you have to see what happens inside of your body when your body digests your food to determine how fattening the food really is.

Before I expand on this, you should first know what the original low fat diet is all about, and how this has shaped food manufacturing in this country.

This diet gets you to eat low fat foods to lose weight. The idea is simple, eat low fat food, and you don’t put on any fat. As you are going to find out, your body is far more complicated than that, and just because a food doesn’t have fat to start off with, it doesn’t mean that it won’t end up being fat by the time it is totally processed inside of you.

The low fat diet has gained a lot of traction over the last two decades. So , the food manufacturers had to act, or lose their market share. That’s why we have a low fat version of everything when you go to the supermarket. The only problem is that many of these food companies replace the fat in the foods with a huge amount of sugars and other refined carbohydrates to maintain the taste of that food.

Therefore, if you are following a low fat diet, you are probably eating a lot of refined carbohydrates.

So, what does that mean?

Refined carbohydrates get processed as soon as you start eating it, and breaks down into glucose (a potent source of energy for your body) so that it can actually be used by your body. The way your body does this is by dumping the glucose into your blood stream. Now you blood picks up the glucose and transports it to all areas of your body. That way you never run out of energy.

Well what if you don’t need this energy right now?

Your body stores this excess glucose as glycogen in your muscles. If all of your glycogen stores are already full, then it is stored as fat!

I hope you understood that. Let me rephrase it ensure you get it.

If you eat a lot of refined carbohydrates, it will eventually turn to fat if you eat more than you need. Unless you are very active, and make use of your glycogen stores, you don’t need refined carbohydrates. Even then, you might only use them straight after a workout.

So although you may be eating what’s called a ‘low fat’ food, it is really anything but low fat.

Now the main exception to this is low fat milk, low fat cheese or low fat natural yogurt. These usually don’t have refined sugar. Most of the other types of ‘low fat’ foods though are full of it.

The worst thing about these refined carbohydrates are that they are very addictive. If you study how insulin works in your body, you’ll realize that your body starts craving for these high sugar foods, often when you aren’t even hungry. It’s a vicious cycle you want to stay away from. It’s a cycle that most obese and overweight people are right in the middle of. There are also other effects of eating too many refined carbs. These include unstable energy levels, mood swings, headaches and onset of life threatening diseases such as heart disease.

This all explains why there are so many people that buy low fat food religiously, but still don’t manage to drop any weight. They blame themselves, their genetics, when its not really their fault. They were just not taught how their own body works. If you have had this experience then you now know why.

The bottom line is that what you eat is as, if not more important as how much you eat.

So next time you go shopping and you see the ‘Low Fat’ sign on the food, make sure you check the ingredients label to see how much sugar and carbs are in it. Now you know that excess refined carbs are pretty much the same thing as fat, you’ll be able to see right through the sneaky companies that try and trick you with this.
